Our Parent Crew is an organization of parents who work to improve the school, raise funds, foster volunteerism, and is also a great place to make new connections and friends! The organization is always in growth, so you can get involved any time!

We have leadership opportunities available, as well as engagement at about any commitment level – from running a committee to just volunteering every once in a while! Use the form linked above to express your level of interest. For those of you not familiar with the Parent Crew, we operate much like a traditional PTO. Our Parent Crew plans staff appreciation and fun events throughout the school year to help create a stronger community.
Mark your calendars for Sunday, July 20th @ 1-5pm for the FSI Family Meet & Greet! We’ll be getting together with new and existing families at the Buncombe County Sports Park shelter by grade level throughout the day. Times are staggered to allow similar grade levels to meet at the same time, but of course you’re welcome to stay as long as you’d like. 5th & 6th grades meet beginning at 1-2pm, 7th & 8th grade beginning 2-3pm, and all other grades are welcome from 3-5pm. Kona Ice will be there for everyone to enjoy! This is always a fun event where we all get to make a lot of new connections, reconnect with classmates and enjoy a summer afternoon! There is a playground next to the shelter, so the kids will also have the opportunity to run around and play.
